About Jeff

Hi, I’m Jeff—husband, dad, physical therapist, professor, and relentless pursuer of optimizing health and human performance. I’ve spent over a decade studying, teaching, and applying principles of movement, strength, and wellness. As a professor of kinesiology and strength and conditioning, I get to dive deep into the science of how the human body works—what drives peak performance, what hinders it, and how we can use knowledge to thrive. I also work with clients ranging from rehabilitation to advanced performance training, helping them look, move, and feel their absolute best.

Like many of you, I’ve faced seasons where my health and performance weren’t where I wanted them to be. Life as a busy dad of three boys—juggling work, family, and everything in between—forced me to learn how to balance it all while staying healthy. I realized that by applying the same principles I teach my students and clients, I could create a blueprint for living well, no matter how crazy life gets.

This blog is my way of sharing that blueprint with you. Whether you’re a man in your 40s looking to reclaim your strength and energy, an athlete seeking to up your game, or someone navigating the challenges of fatherhood while trying to stay healthy, you’re in the right place.

When I’m not teaching or working with clients, you can find me outside—surfing, hiking, or backpacking with my family—or cheering on my boys at their latest game. My life isn’t perfect, but I’m committed to the process of growth, learning, and living with purpose.

Let’s work together to optimize your health, unlock your potential, and live the life you’re capable of.
