What Makes You Valuable to Your Clients?

I am a learner...especially when it comes to strength and conditioning, performance, and rehabilitation. I could read article after article, book after book, watch podcast after podcast, go to every conference I could (if I could afford it).  I believe most good strength coaches/therapists would say the same thing.

Lately, I have shifted some of my focus to learn more about how to motivate people to change. What I am coming to learn is

knowing more doesn't necessarily make you more valuable to the client. You are only more valuable when you can get someone to do what you want them to do.

Switch is a book I have been wanting to read for a while and it finally came in the mail yesterday.  I am a few chapters in already and loving it! If you are a trainer/coach/PT/have employees I highly recommend it.
